The 2025 levy would continue funding for programs and services that are not fully funded by the state. These include college and career readiness staff, counselors, social workers, transportation, safety staff and day-to-day operations.
The levy is a renewal of a levy passed in 2021. It is not a new tax. Instead, it replaces the current levy that is set to expire.
Election Day is Tuesday, November 4. Ballots must be returned to a King County Elections drop box by 8:00 p.m. that day or postmarked by November 4 to be counted. Ballot drop boxes are located throughout the county and are open 24 hours a day until Election Day.
